McKesson: Is anyone else noticing a hiring freeze?

Curious if others are seeing this at McKesson. We've had a couple of open requisitions on my team that have been stalled for months. When I've asked about it, the responses are always vague – 'budget review,' 'strategic alignment,' etc. It really feels like a de facto hiring freeze, even if it hasn't been officially announced. Combine this with the increased workload everyone seems to be feeling (based on other threads), and it's starting to paint a picture. Anyone else in a similar boat or heard anything more concrete about hiring plans (or lack thereof)? Trying to get a sense of the broader picture here.

Yes, definitely seeing this on my end too. Several roles in my department have been on hold for what feels like forever, with the same kind of vague 'budget' and 'alignment' explanations. I haven't heard anything official about a hiring freeze, but the slowdown in recruitment is undeniable. We've got critical positions open that are just sitting there. Makes you wonder what the long-term strategy is if they're not bringing in new talent to handle the existing workload. Hopefully, we'll get some clarity soon, but for now, it's just more work for everyone else.
