Hey everyone, been at McKesson for a few years now in [department, e.g., IT/Sales/Ops]. Lately, there's been a weird vibe. People are quiet, meetings feel a bit more tense, and there's this underlying current of uncertainty. I haven't seen any official announcements or even concrete rumors, but it feels like something is brewing. Managers are being cagey, and there's definitely been a slowdown in project approvals and new initiatives. Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my team, or is there a broader shift happening? Concerned about what this might mean long-term.

Yeah, I've felt that too. Been here about 4 years in supply chain. Things have definitely gotten quieter, and it feels like decisions are being held back. My manager also deflects when I ask about future plans, just saying 'stay tuned.' It's making it hard to plan my own workload and even think about long-term career goals here. Hopefully, whatever is happening leads to something positive, but the uncertainty is pretty stressful right now.

Interesting you mention that. I'm in finance and have noticed a similar hush-hush atmosphere over the last couple of months. There's been an uptick in internal audits and a tightening of budgets that wasn't there before. When I've tried to get clarity on some spending requests, the answers have been vague. I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but the overall feeling is that something significant might be shifting behind the scenes.
