McKesson: Unusual silence on new initiatives?

Has anyone else noticed a significant slowdown or even a halt in the announcement and approval of new projects or initiatives across McKesson recently? Usually, around this time of year, we'd be hearing about upcoming roadmaps and new ventures. However, lately, there's been an unusual level of quiet. It feels like visibility on future work has dropped considerably. Even internal discussions about potential new projects seem to hit a wall or get put on indefinite hold. Is this just the typical pre-holiday lull, or does anyone suspect something more strategic might be at play? I've heard a few vague mentions of 'strategic realignment' but nothing concrete. Just trying to get a pulse check on what's happening beyond my immediate team. Anyone else picking up on this lack of forward momentum?

I've picked up on that too. Things have felt pretty stagnant internally for a while now. Lots of whispers about reorgs and cost-cutting, which might explain the lack of big splashes. It's definitely a change from how things used to roll out. Hopefully, it's just a strategic pause before a bigger announcement, but the silence is pretty deafening.

Totally agree. It's like the innovation engine has sputtered. I've seen a few smaller, departmental initiatives get approved, but nothing that feels like a major strategic push. Makes you wonder if there's some internal friction or a shift in leadership's priorities that they aren't communicating. Hard to get excited about the future when you can't see it.
