Anyone else feeling the strain at Medtronic? Productivity dip?

Hey everyone, been at Medtronic for a few years now and lately things have felt... off. My team's workload hasn't necessarily increased, but the output and general sense of urgency seem to have dropped. Projects are dragging, approvals are slower, and there's a general feeling of 'what's next?' that's a bit unsettling. It's not a panic situation by any means, but I'm definitely noticing a change in the usual rhythm. Was wondering if anyone else in other departments or divisions are seeing similar trends? Maybe it's just my specific area, but the lack of clear direction on some initiatives makes me wonder if resources are being re-evaluated behind the scenes. Trying not to spiral, but the quietness is louder than usual. Anyone have any insights or similar observations?

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift too. It's like the momentum has slowed down across the board. Used to be we'd hit the ground running on new initiatives, but now it feels like we're spending more time in planning and less in execution. Maybe it's just a phase, but it's noticeable and impacting morale, for sure.

Interesting that you're seeing this. I haven't pinpointed it to productivity specifically, but there's a definite feeling of inertia in certain areas. Communication seems a bit more fragmented, and it's harder to get quick decisions made. Makes you wonder if there are larger organizational changes happening that are trickling down.
