Medtronic - Anyone else's budget feel non-existent?

Seriously, is it just me or has the budget for everything at Medtronic just evaporated? I'm talking about travel, training, even basic supplies. Teams are being told to 'do more with less' to an extreme degree. It feels like we're being set up to fail if we can't deliver without any resources. Initiatives that were approved months ago are suddenly being put on hold indefinitely due to 'budgetary constraints.' It's creating a lot of frustration and makes it hard to feel motivated when you're constantly battling for the minimal resources needed to do your job. Feels like a precursor to something, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyone else in a similar boat? What are people's managers saying about this? Mine is being pretty vague, just repeating the 'efficiency' line.

I'm feeling this too, 100%. It's not just you. It seems like a company-wide directive to just slash everything. My team is constantly scrambling for even the most basic necessities, and any training requests are met with a flat 'no.' It's incredibly demoralizing when you're trying to do your best work but are actively being hindered by a lack of resources. Feels like we're expected to perform miracles on fumes.

I've noticed the budget tightening quite significantly across the board. The 'do more with less' mantra is definitely being pushed, but it's reaching a point where it feels unsustainable. Important projects are getting stalled, and the lack of investment in essential tools and development is palpable. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like the company isn't investing in your ability to succeed.
