Been trying to explore internal opportunities for a while now, and it feels like the usual trickle of postings has completely stopped. Used to be you could always find something if your current role wasn't a fit, or if you were looking to grow. Now? It's like everything is on hold. Even informal chats with hiring managers in other departments are met with 'nothing open right now' or 'we're waiting for approvals.' Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Is this just a seasonal lull, or is the company tightening its belt in a way that impacts internal mobility too? Anyone else seeing this on the internal job board or hearing similar things?

I've noticed the same thing! It's really frustrating when you're trying to advance your career within the company and the pathways seem to have closed off. I was hoping to move into a more project-based role, but every time I inquire, it's the same story. Definitely feels like something has shifted recently. Yeah, it's been tough. I've seen a lot of people express similar concerns in other internal forums too. The silence on internal openings is deafening. It's making many of us question our long-term prospects here if internal mobility is no longer a viable option. Hopefully, things will open up soon, but it's hard not to feel a bit stuck right now.
