Medtronic - Project delays and vague roadmaps

Okay, I'm not trying to be alarmist, but has anyone else noticed a significant uptick in projects getting pushed back or having their scope drastically reduced? It's not just one or two, it feels systemic across several teams I interact with. Roadmaps that were solid a quarter ago now seem really fluid, with a lot of 'to be determined' or 're-evaluation pending'. Coupled with some of the 'efficiency' initiatives management keeps talking about, it's making me nervous. It feels like they're scrutinizing every single dollar, and maybe even every single headcount, behind the scenes. Trying to get clear answers is impossible, just a lot of corporate speak about 'prioritization' and 'strategic focus'. Anyone else in a similar boat? Wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger, or if it's just a rough patch in the market they're navigating.

I've definitely seen some of that too. It's frustrating when you're trying to plan and build momentum, only to have timelines shift unexpectedly. The 'efficiency' talk does raise some concerns about resource allocation and priorities. Hoping for more clarity soon, as it impacts our ability to deliver effectively.

Interesting to hear others are experiencing this. It feels like a cycle where ambitious targets are set, but the execution or resource planning doesn't quite match. The lack of concrete roadmaps makes it hard to align efforts and anticipate challenges. Definitely a bit unsettling when things feel so uncertain.
