Medtronic - Strange vibes about future projects

Hey everyone, been at Medtronic for a few years now and lately things feel... off. Not seeing the usual Q-starts for new initiatives, and the project pipeline everyone's talking about seems unusually quiet. My manager is being cagey, just saying 'focus on current deliverables.' Is anyone else seeing this? Are we heading into a lull, or is there something bigger brewing? It's hard to plan or even feel motivated when the future direction feels so uncertain. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've been getting similar feelings. The usual buzz about upcoming projects just isn't there. It's weirdly quiet on the innovation front, and the vagueness from leadership isn't helping. It's tough to stay engaged when the road ahead looks foggy. I'm hoping it's just a temporary dip before a big announcement, but the lack of transparency is definitely unnerving. Makes you wonder if priorities have shifted significantly behind closed doors.

Totally know what you mean. The project pipeline definitely feels less robust than usual, and the focus on just hitting current targets feels like a holding pattern. My team's been asking about future roadmaps, but we're getting the same 'stay focused' line. It creates a strange atmosphere, and honestly, it’s impacting morale. I’m trying to stay optimistic, but the silence on new initiatives is hard to ignore. Let’s hope it’s just a strategic pause.
