Medtronic: Anyone else feeling the pressure?

Lately, things have felt… tense. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and it feels like there's a much sharper focus on cost-saving and 'optimizing resources'. My manager's been cagey when asked about future projects, and there's a definite 'hunker down' mentality. Not sure if it's just my department or a broader company-wide thing. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it just the usual end-of-year jitters, or is something bigger brewing? The silence from leadership on any potential changes is deafening, which just makes the speculation worse. Would appreciate any insights, even if it's just confirming that others feel the same.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. My team's been tasked with reviewing every single expense, down to the smallest supplies. There's a lot of talk about streamlining processes and it feels like headcount is being watched very closely. The lack of clear communication is the most unnerving part; you just get vague directives and a lot of 'trust the process.' Hoping it's just a cycle, but it's hard not to worry about what might be coming down the pipeline.
