Well, it happened. Just got laid off from Medtronic after X years. My whole team was impacted. They cited "organizational changes" and "efficiency improvements" – the usual corporate jargon. Received the standard severance package, but still reeling. Feeling pretty blindsided and frankly, pretty angry. Wondering if this is a wider wave hitting Medtronic. Anyone else in a similar boat today or recently? Looking for solidarity and maybe some advice on navigating this. Did they give you any specific reasons or was it vague like mine? This sucks.

That's brutal news, truly sorry you're going through this. 'Organizational changes' is such a sterile way to describe something that has such a huge personal impact.
