Medtronic: Layoff rumors circulating - anyone have concrete info?

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter on here and other places about potential layoffs at Medtronic. No official word, of course, but the whispers are getting louder. Seeing people mention it in relation to different divisions, especially some of the newer tech/software integration stuff, but also hearing about areas that have historically been stable. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything more concrete? Is it widespread, or more targeted? Any insights from managers or HR folks who might be privy to more would be super helpful. Trying to gauge the real situation beyond the speculation. Feels like a lot of us are on edge right now, just wanting to know what's actually happening. Thanks in advance for any info you can share.

I've heard rumblings too, but it's hard to separate fact from fiction with these kinds of rumors. It seems to be a common theme across many larger companies right now, not just Medtronic. If it is happening, I'd expect it to be more targeted towards areas that aren't performing as expected or are being restructured. Keep an eye on official communications, but don't panic based on anonymous posts. Hopefully, if there are any changes, they'll be handled with transparency.
