I've been feeling a similar pressure. It seems like projects are piling up, and while nobody's explicitly saying anyone's job is changing, the expectations definitely feel higher. The 'streamlining' talk is everywhere, but it doesn't seem to translate into fewer tasks or clearer responsibilities for many of us. It's definitely creating some anxiety about where things are headed, especially since the communication about it is so vague.
Totally get what you're saying. The 'optimization' buzzwords are constant, but the reality on the ground feels like we're just expected to do more with less, or perhaps more with the same resources but with added complexity. It's that feeling of being stretched thin without knowing if this is a temporary crunch or a permanent shift in how things operate. Hopefully, they'll clarify soon because the uncertainty is starting to wear on people.
