Hey everyone, been at Merck for a few years now, and lately, I've been noticing a lot of buzzwords like 'strategic realignment' and 'portfolio optimization' being thrown around in town halls and internal comms. It's not just me, right? My team's been given new objectives that feel a bit... ambiguous. We're also seeing more cross-functional project teams forming and then dissolving pretty quickly. It's creating a weird sense of uncertainty. Morale has definitely taken a dip, and people are quietly talking about what it all means. No official layoffs have been announced, thankfully, but this constant shifting feels like it's paving the way for something. Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing similar vibes or has any insights into what these 'realignment' efforts might actually entail. Curious to hear your thoughts.

Totally get where you're coming from. The constant talk of 'optimization' and shifting team structures does create a sense of unease.
