I've definitely noticed a similar trend. The pipeline for new positions seems much thinner than it was even six months ago. My team's been trying to backfill a critical role for what feels like an eternity, and the process has been incredibly drawn out with minimal updates. It's making it hard to plan and feels like resources are being stretched thin across existing projects. Hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment period.
Yeah, the slowdown is palpable across several departments I interact with. There's a lot of speculation about the reasons, ranging from upcoming restructuring rumors to a more cautious approach to financial planning for the next fiscal year. It's certainly a change of pace from the aggressive growth we saw previously. It would be good to get some clarity from leadership on the hiring strategy moving forward.
