Lately, the general vibe around the office feels… different. People seem more guarded, conversations are quieter, and there's definitely less of that 'let's tackle this together' energy we used to have. I've noticed a lot more people heading out right at 5 PM, no lingering, and fewer spontaneous team lunches or after-work drinks. It’s not just me, right? I've heard a few hushed comments about increased scrutiny on expenses and a general feeling of uncertainty about future projects. Even the typically optimistic folks seem a bit more reserved. Is this just a phase, or is there something deeper going on that isn't being communicated openly? I'm trying to stay positive and focus on my work, but it’s hard when the overall atmosphere feels a bit heavy. Curious to hear if others are picking up on this too.
