8,000 gone. Is all this AI investment really worth it?

0x52c1…6a4fSo, 8,000 people just got axed. And the narrative is that it's to free up billions for AI. Billions. Meanwhile, thousands of us are out of jobs, wondering what happens next. I've seen the articles, the claims about how these decisions were made, and frankly, it makes me sick. We poured years into this company, built things, achieved goals, and now we're just collateral damage for Zuck's next big AI obsession? It feels like a complete betrayal. I get that companies need to adapt, but the scale of these cuts, especially with the whispers about how they were managed... it's a lot to process. Anyone else feeling completely demoralized by this pivot?
