Seeing the news about 8k jobs cut and then reading about how they're doubling down on these advanced tech implementations for 'efficiency' is... surreal. My team just got assigned a new 'strategic advisor' that's supposedly a cutting-edge system, and it's burning through resources. Meanwhile, people I've worked with for years are getting escorted out the door. Is anyone else feeling this disconnect?
