So, the news is out - 8,000 people gone. It's hard not to feel like a statistic when you see those numbers. They're saying it's all about shifting focus to AI, which I get to an extent, but 8,000 people? Many of us have dedicated years to this company, building products and teams. To be let go in such large numbers, reportedly with little to no human oversight in some cases, feels incredibly dehumanizing. I'm trying to stay professional and focus on what's next, but there's definitely a bitter taste left. Is anyone else feeling this way? It's not just about the job, it's about how we were treated.

This is absolutely brutal. Seeing those numbers, knowing friends and colleagues are affected, it's devastating. The explanation about shifting focus sounds reasonable on paper, but the scale of these layoffs and the reported lack of personal consideration make it incredibly hard to swallow. Years of dedication tossed aside like that is a terrible way to treat people. Hope everyone finds their footing soon, but this stings deeply.
