Seriously, anyone else feel completely blindsided by the whole WFH thing leading up to this latest round of layoffs? We get told to stay home, everyone's trying to figure out what's going on, and then BAM. 4 AM emails. It felt so calculated, like they wanted to minimize any kind of on-site reaction. It's not just the job loss, it's the way it was handled. Felt like we were being managed out, not just laid off. It's demoralizing to feel like you were set up. Made me question everything about how they operate. Is this the new normal for tech layoffs? Just feels incredibly disrespectful.
