MetLife - What's the vibe check on internal movement?

Hey everyone, Been at MetLife for a few years now, and lately, the internal job board has been looking pretty anemic. Usually, there are a decent number of openings for internal transfers, but it feels like a ghost town the last couple of months. Even tried chatting with a few recruiters I know and they're being super cagey, just saying 'things are shifting' or 'prioritizing critical roles.' On top of that, I've noticed a lot of teams seem to be holding off on backfilling roles that have opened up. People are picking up the slack, but it's definitely noticeable. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Are we heading into a tougher period, or is this just standard cyclical stuff I haven't paid enough attention to? Anyone else pick up on this? Any insights from your departments or teams? Curious to hear what others are seeing or hearing, even if it's just water cooler chat. Trying not to read too much into it, but the silence is a little unnerving.
