MetLife: Anyone else feeling the economic chill?

Hey everyone, I've been with MetLife for a few years now, and lately, there's just been a strange vibe. Nothing concrete to point to, no official announcements, but the general atmosphere feels... tense. Budgets seem tighter, a few projects have been put on hold, and there's been a lot of talk about 'efficiency gains' in internal comms. It's not quite panic stations, but it's making me nervous. Wondering if anyone else is picking up on this, or if I'm just overthinking things. Trying to stay positive, but the constant hum of economic uncertainty is hard to ignore. Any insights from others in similar roles or departments?

I've noticed some similar shifts at MetLife myself. The talk about efficiency is definitely up, and it feels like there's a bit more scrutiny on departmental spending than usual.
