Definitely feeling it here too. Seems like the same story across multiple departments – higher expectations, fewer hands to do the work, and very little wiggle room on budgets. It's a constant juggling act and honestly, it's exhausting. I've heard whispers about efficiency drives and streamlining, which I'm sure is the corporate spin, but on the ground, it just feels like a perpetual state of understaffing and burnout. Curious to see if management acknowledges this trend or if it's just business as usual for them.
I can relate to what you're saying. It feels like the goalposts are constantly moving, and we're expected to achieve more with fewer tools. It's definitely tough on morale when you're stretched thin and feel like your contributions aren't being fully supported by adequate resources. Management keeps talking about innovation and growth, but it's hard to innovate when you're just trying to keep your head above water. Hoping this isn't the new normal, but it's hard to be optimistic given the current climate.
