MGM Resorts - Layoff Rumors? What's happening?

Hey everyone, been seeing some whispers and feeling a weird tension around the office lately. Nothing official has been announced, and no WARN notices filed that I can see, but the vibe is definitely off. Anyone else at MGM Resorts picking up on this? I'm in operations at one of the larger properties, and communication has been pretty tight-lipped. Just trying to get a feel for what's going on before things potentially get worse. Is anyone hearing anything concrete, or is it just the usual pre-holiday jitters amplified? Trying to stay ahead of it if possible, update the resume, start looking maybe? Just want to be prepared. Any intel would be appreciated.

I've heard similar rumblings. It's definitely unsettling when management goes quiet and the atmosphere feels tense. I'm in a different department, but the grapevine is buzzing. Hoping it's just some restructuring or budget adjustments, but the lack of clear communication doesn't inspire much confidence. Yeah, the silence is deafening. I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but it's hard when there's this much uncertainty. Management usually tries to get ahead of these things, even if it's just to calm nerves. The fact that they're not, or can't, is what's making people anxious. Hopefully, we'll get some clarity soon, but I'm preparing for the worst just in case.
