The reasoning cited is a downturn in the automotive market, which makes sense given recent industry trends. However, as an employee, the lack of official communication is deafening. It creates this breeding ground for speculation and frankly, a lot of stress. My team's workload hasn't changed, and performance reviews just wrapped up, but this news is hard to shake. Is anyone else feeling this unease? Has anyone's department seen a hiring freeze or project slowdowns that might indicate something is brewing? Trying to stay professional but this uncertainty is a real mental drain.

It's completely understandable that employees are feeling anxious. The silence from management on potential layoffs, especially when rumors are circulating, can be incredibly stressful. It's tough to stay focused and motivated when there's so much uncertainty about job security. Hopefully, the company will address these concerns directly and transparently soon, rather than letting speculation run rampant. The lack of communication only amplifies the fear.
