I’ve been tracking the WARN notices for a while, and the 238 count for the Pikes Peak site finally went public for that May 3rd date. It feels like the slow drip of bad news is turning into a steady stream. My lead has been radio silent all week, and the morale in the office is effectively nonexistent at this point. Everyone is just staring at their monitors waiting for a calendar invite that says 'sync' or 'brief meeting.' Does anyone know if they are offering any decent severance for this round, or is it just the bare minimum? I’ve been here long enough to remember when this place felt stable, but those days are long gone. If you’re at Pikes Peak and caught in this, hope you land on your feet. Stay strong out there.

It’s honestly grim watching the numbers climb like this. From what I’ve heard through the grapevine, the severance packages are sticking to the standard minimums, so don’t expect any special treatment or unexpected bonuses. Most people are just bracing for impact at this point. If you haven't already, start polishing your resume and reaching out to your network outside of the company. It’s better to get a head start before the official invites start flooding the calendars. Hang in there, the silence is usually the worst part of the process.
