Anyone else feeling super uneasy right now?

I'm on the Azure team, been here almost 8 years now, and the vibes are just...off. My manager has been in back-to-back meetings all week, and when I asked about my project roadmap, I got a super vague, non-committal answer. I know everyone's always paranoid about layoffs, but this feels different. Remember the last big reorg? It started exactly like this - lots of closed-door meetings and nervous energy. Anyone else noticing similar things in their orgs? Just trying to gauge if it's just me or something more widespread. Trying to decide if it's time to dust off the resume...

I hear you. Been at Microsoft longer than you have, and I've seen this pattern before. The vague answers about roadmaps are a classic sign. My advice? Update your resume and LinkedIn profile, just in case. It's always better to be prepared. Also, start discreetly reaching out to your network. Knowledge is power, and a head start could make a huge difference.

Honestly, sounds like typical Microsoft. Back-to-back meetings could mean anything - a new product launch, a partnership, or even just budget planning. People are always quick to jump to conclusions about layoffs, especially after the recent industry trends. Unless you hear something concrete, try not to get too worked up. Focus on your work, and don't let the rumors distract you. Anxiety isn't productive.
