Hang in there. It's tough when things feel uncertain. I've been through a couple of these 'reorg jitters' at big tech places. Sometimes it's just internal restructuring that sounds scarier than it is, other times it does mean changes. My best advice is to keep your head down, do excellent work, and network internally. Knowing people in different areas can give you a heads-up or potential internal opportunities if things go south. Don't let the anxiety paralyze you.
Yeah, 'finalizing priorities' is corporate speak for 'we don't know yet, or we're cutting stuff.' Six years is a good run, and if you're feeling this way, it's probably more than just your imagination. Have you looked at your LinkedIn connections lately? See who's posting about new roles or leaving. Might be worth updating your resume now, just to be prepared. Better safe than sorry when the corporate machine starts grinding.
