Just saw the news about the latest round of layoffs, especially hitting the gaming division. I've been with Microsoft for over a decade, and honestly, it's getting harder to recognize the company. The constant restructuring feels less about innovation and more about appeasing shareholders. I saw a post about a 37-year vet being let go, and that just hits hard. What does loyalty even mean anymore? It feels like we're just numbers on a spreadsheet, easily replaceable. This constant 'reset' talk is unnerving. It makes you wonder if any division is truly safe. My team in Montgomery County is already on edge. We're trying to stay focused, but it's tough when you see so many colleagues, good people, being shown the door. Feels like a very uncertain future ahead, not just for us, but for the whole industry.
