Just wanted to vent a little and see if I'm alone. The atmosphere here feels... tense lately. Lots of talk about 'efficiency' and 'prioritization,' which usually means one thing. I haven't seen any official announcements about layoffs, and honestly, I hope it doesn't come to that. But the whispers are getting louder, and some project scopes seem to be narrowing. It’s hard to stay motivated when you're constantly wondering if your role is secure. It's frustrating because we're doing good work, but it feels like external factors are dictating our future. Is anyone else in a similar boat? How are you guys coping with the uncertainty? It’s tough to plan anything when the ground feels so shaky.

Hang in there. I've noticed similar vibes. The 'efficiency drives' can be really demoralizing, especially when the work itself feels important.
