Just saw the official WARN notice come through for the Richmond site. It’s officially 268 people getting cut as of June 30th. Honestly, this place has felt like a revolving door for the last six months, but seeing the actual number in print makes it sting a bit more. If you're based in the Richmond hub, I'd suggest checking your inbox or your calendars for those dreaded 'mandatory touch-base' invites that don't have an agenda. It’s a total bloodbath. Everyone is walking on eggshells today. Has anyone heard if they are offering any decent severance packages, or are they just trying to get us out the door by end of month? I’ve been here for three years and I’m just trying to figure out if I should start prepping my resume tonight or if there’s still a chance this is localized to specific departments.

I am so sorry to hear this. 268 people is a massive hit for one office, and my heart goes out to everyone currently dealing with that anxiety. The way management handles these 'mandatory touch-base' meetings without any clear agenda beforehand is incredibly cruel. Please make sure you are documenting everything you need for unemployment or severance while you still have system access. Take care of yourself today and lean on your colleagues—the company clearly doesn't care about the people, so you have to look out for each other right now.

Another round of cuts at Molina? Honestly, I’m not even surprised anymore, but seeing that specific number in the WARN notice is grim. This place has been circling the drain culturally for a long time, and the revolving door of leadership seems to have finally caught up with the actual staff. To everyone still waiting to hear if they’re on the list, keep your resume ready and don't take this personally. It’s a systemic failure at the top, not a reflection of anyone’s work ethic.
