Molina Healthcare - Anyone else notice a slowdown?

Hey everyone, been at Molina for a couple of years now in [Department Name]. Lately, things have felt...different. Projects seem to be on hold or getting significantly scaled back. My manager has been pretty cagey when I ask about upcoming initiatives or even just general workload for Q2. It's not just me, I've overheard a few colleagues in different departments mentioning similar things – fewer new hires starting, existing roles being consolidated, and just a general air of uncertainty. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a company-wide thing or am I just in a department that's being hit harder? Trying to figure out if I should be updating the resume or if this is just a typical cyclical slowdown. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've definitely noticed a shift too. It feels like resources are being stretched thin, and there's a lot of talk about 'streamlining' which usually means fewer people doing more. My team's been told to focus on existing priorities and hold off on any new projects until further notice. It's unsettling not knowing what's coming next, and the lack of clear communication from leadership doesn't help.

Interesting you bring this up. While I haven't seen outright project halts, there's a definite tightening of the belt. Budgets for training and external resources seem to have been significantly reduced, and there's a general feeling of 'do more with less.' It's understandable given the market, but the lack of transparency makes it tough to plan or feel secure about future opportunities within the company.
