Molina Healthcare - Performance review season anxiety

With performance review season approaching at Molina, I'm feeling the usual mix of nerves and anticipation. This year, however, it feels amplified by some of the whispers I've been hearing about 'efficiency improvements' and 'strategic realignments.' While nothing concrete has been announced, the general mood feels a bit tense. Are others finding their managers more cagey than usual when discussing career paths or potential opportunities? I'm just trying to gauge if the upcoming reviews are going to be standard feedback sessions or if there might be tougher conversations tied to headcount or role necessity. It's hard to separate the normal end-of-year jitters from potential larger organizational shifts. Has anyone received any unusual pre-review signals or feedback that might indicate something beyond the typical annual assessment?

I'm right there with you. The buzz around 'efficiency' definitely has me on edge. My manager's been a bit vague lately when I've asked about development plans, which is unusual for them. I'm hoping it's just standard end-of-year wrap-up talk, but the uncertainty is definitely stressful. Just trying to keep my head down and do good work, hoping that speaks for itself.

Yeah, I've noticed a shift too. Conversations about future roles or promotions seem to be on hold until after reviews. It feels like there's a lot of internal restructuring happening that hasn't been fully communicated. Makes it hard to plan or feel secure about where things are headed. Hopefully, the reviews bring some clarity, or at least a more direct conversation about expectations.
