So much for 'prioritizing talent' after the recent cuts

It’s honestly laughable. Molina sends out the corporate memo about 'streamlining operations' and then proceeds to axe nearly 270 people in Virginia. I survived this round, but the morale here is in the gutter. They kept talking about growth in the last all-hands meeting, and three weeks later, they are cutting deep into the workforce. The workload for those of us left behind is going to be impossible, and you know they aren’t planning on backfilling these roles anytime soon. I’m already dusting off my resume because I refuse to be the next one on the chopping block during the next 're-alignment.' If you’re looking to jump ship, now is definitely the time. This company has no loyalty to the rank and file.

The corporate double-speak is exhausting. They talk about 'strategic alignment' and 'efficiency,' but it’s just a nice way to say they are padding the bottom line at the expense of people’s livelihoods. I’ve been through enough of these reorgs to know that the empty promises about growth are just a distraction. If you’re already looking, don't look back. It’s clear that leadership views us as nothing more than line items on a spreadsheet, and the environment is only going to get more toxic as they dump twice the work on half the staff.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. The whiplash between the 'we are a family' speeches and the massive layoffs is exactly why nobody trusts management anymore. When they say they are 'streamlining,' it usually means they are sacrificing the core of the company to satisfy shareholders. Don't feel guilty for dusting off your resume—it’s not loyalty if they aren’t loyal to you. Focus on your own exit strategy because trying to carry the workload of three people for the same salary is a trap that leads straight to burnout.
