Anyone else noticing a hiring freeze, even subtly?

Just trying to get a pulse check from others at Molson Coors. We had a couple of open positions in my department that were supposed to be filled by Q3, but they've suddenly gone quiet. My manager is being vague, saying 'budget reviews' and 'strategic realignment'. Sounds like corporate speak for 'we're not hiring right now, maybe ever for these roles'. It's not a formal announcement, but the hiring pipeline seems to have completely stalled. Anyone else experiencing this? It's making it tough to plan projects and we're already feeling the pinch on workload. Makes you wonder if they're bracing for something, or just tightening the belt in a big way.
