Performance review season - anyone else dreading the 'increased expectations' talk?

So, performance review season is upon us at Molson Coors, and I'm already bracing myself. Last year was tough, and it feels like the pressure has only ramped up since then. I've already had a couple of informal chats with my manager where the theme has been 'achieving more with existing resources' and 'demonstrating greater impact'. It sounds like corporate is pushing for higher output across the board, possibly as a precursor to something else. I'm good at my job, but there's a limit to what one person can realistically do. Curious if others are feeling this same pressure cooker environment during reviews? Are you expecting a significant jump in your goals or targets, or are the conversations more about 'development' and 'skill-building' that subtly implies more work will be needed?

Yeah, I'm hearing similar things here at Molson Coors. It feels like the goalposts keep moving, and what was considered 'exceeding expectations' last year is now just the baseline. Trying to figure out how to navigate these 'increased expectations' without burning out is the real challenge. Anyone have any strategies for managing this kind of pressure while still maintaining quality work? It’s a delicate balance, for sure.**

**Oh man, that performance review talk at Molson Coors is already giving me hives. 'Increased expectations' always feels like a euphemism for 'do more with less,' doesn't it? I'm curious to see what specific metrics they'll be focusing on this year. It would be helpful if they offered more concrete support or resources instead of just raising the bar. Let's hope it's not *too* unreasonable.**
