Yeah, I felt that too. It was definitely more granular this year. My manager brought up data points from six months ago I'd completely forgotten about. Felt like they were really trying to get a precise picture of everyone's output, maybe to justify staffing levels or something? It's a bit unsettling when the focus shifts so heavily to numbers, makes you wonder what's behind it.
Totally agree, the 'impact' conversation was a big one in my review. Felt like I had to defend my daily tasks with battlefield-level detail. It's a change from just discussing overall goals and progress. Makes me think they're looking at efficiency very closely. Hopefully, it just means they're invested in optimizing, but it does add a layer of pressure.
