MDLZ - What's the word on hiring freezes or budget cuts?

Been hearing some whispers around the virtual water cooler about hiring freezes in certain areas and maybe even some budget tightening measures. Nothing concrete, of course, but enough chatter to make me wonder. Has anyone seen or experienced any signs of this in their teams or departments at Mondelez? Are open roles being put on hold? Are travel budgets being slashed? Any visibility into potential impacts down the line? Trying to get a pulse on the overall financial health and operational direction from those closer to the ground. Appreciate any information or observations you can share, even if it's just anecdotal. Trying to stay ahead of any potential shifts.

I've definitely noticed a slowdown in new requisitions being approved lately, and a few of the projects I was tracking seem to have had their funding re-evaluated. My manager mentioned we need to be more mindful of discretionary spending, which probably explains the quieter fridge in the breakroom. It's making planning for Q3 a bit more challenging than usual, that's for sure.

No concrete announcements from leadership that I've seen, but there's a general sense of caution. Some teams are definitely being more selective about hiring, and I've heard about some non-essential travel being postponed. It feels like a bit of a 'wait and see' approach across the board, trying to navigate the current economic climate without making drastic moves just yet. Hopefully, things stabilize soon.
