Mondelez - Quiet restructuring or just my team?

Hey everyone, been with Mondelez for a few years now and things have felt... odd lately. Not sure if it's just my department or a wider thing. We've had a few key people leave and not be replaced, and there's a general sense of 'doing more with less'. There's been talk of 'efficiency gains' and 'streamlining processes' in internal comms, which usually makes me nervous. My manager is being pretty tight-lipped when I ask about team structure or future plans. Is anyone else seeing similar signs at MDLZ? Just trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if this is just standard corporate ebb and flow. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've been at MDLZ for a while too, and I'm sensing the same vibes. It's definitely not just your team. We've seen some significant role consolidations in my area, and the 'efficiency' talk is constant. It feels like a slow burn, a lot of quiet shuffling behind the scenes. They're definitely tightening the belt, and it's making people uneasy about job security and workload.

Interesting to hear you're feeling that too. My department has also experienced some 'natural attrition' that wasn't backfilled, leading to a much heavier workload for those remaining. The messaging around 'optimization' is definitely a red flag. It's frustrating not getting straight answers from leadership when these changes impact our day-to-day. I'm also keeping a close eye on how this unfolds.
