Okay, so I'm not trying to start anything, but a friend in sales told me they're hearing whispers about a potential restructuring happening in the next quarter. No specifics on who or what teams will be affected, but the word 'redundancy' was thrown around. Take these rumors with a huge grain of salt. 'Restructuring' is a buzzword that gets thrown around constantly, especially around quarter ends. Sales always hears things first, and they're often the least accurate source. Unless you're seeing actual evidence – closed positions, cancelled projects, managers acting weird – I wouldn't lose any sleep. Focus on doing your job and hitting your targets. Freaking out about rumors will only hurt your performance.
