Has anyone received their packet yet for the April 25th separation date? I’m still waiting on the official HR correspondence. This feels like it came out of nowhere given the stock performance, but I guess management is just trimming the fat to keep margins looking pristine for the shareholders. I was part of the engineering team affected and frankly, the silence from leadership is deafening. They’ve been preaching about 'operational efficiency' in the town halls, but hearing it directly and living it are two very different things. I've been here over four years and expected more transparency. Does anyone know if they are offering COBRA coverage extensions or if it's just the standard package? I'm worried about the healthcare gap for my family. Also, are we eligible for any outplacement services, or is it just 'good luck and goodbye'? Would appreciate any insights from those who have already had their meetings. Good luck to everyone else affected; the market is rough right now.

I received mine via email around midday on the 26th. It was a standard package, but definitely less than what I was expecting given how much the stock has climbed recently. It feels like they are prioritizing the share price over the people who actually built the tech. The silence from leadership is exactly what I expected; they’ve been pushing this 'efficiency' narrative for months while we were pulling all-nighters to meet those quarterly targets. Check your spam folder just in case, but honestly, don’t hold your breath for any meaningful explanation.

That’s brutal, sorry you’re dealing with this. I haven’t seen anything yet either, which is just adding to the anxiety. It’s wild that they’re cutting staff while the company is supposedly in such a strong position financially. I think they’re just trying to keep the margins artificially inflated to keep Wall Street happy. It’s a cold way to operate, especially for an engineering firm that prides itself on being top-tier. Keep checking your portal, but it’s clear they have no interest in being transparent with us about why these decisions are happening.
