Anyone else seeing a hiring freeze at Moody's?

Hey everyone, I've been hearing whispers and seeing some unusual quietness around new roles opening up at Moody's. My team had an opening and it's been stalled for weeks with no clear communication on timeline. Feels like a soft freeze, or at least a significant slowdown. Anyone in other departments experiencing the same? Trying to gauge if this is a widespread thing or just isolated to my area. Been with the company for a few years and this feels different than usual lulls. Wondering if it's a precursor to anything bigger or just a seasonal dip. Yeah, I'm seeing something similar. Been here about the same amount of time, and usually, even during slower periods, there's more movement or at least clearer communication about recruitment timelines. This current situation feels like a deliberate hold, though not officially announced. It's definitely causing some uncertainty, especially with roles that were expected to be filled by now. Hoping for some clarity soon from management.

It's not just your area, unfortunately. I've heard rumblings from a couple of different teams that hiring has effectively stopped. New requisitions aren't being approved, and even those that were in the pipeline seem to be on indefinite hold. The lack of official communication is the most frustrating part. Makes it hard to plan and even harder to feel secure about future growth within the company. Definitely a noticeable shift.
