With the end of the year approaching, I'm starting to think about performance reviews and compensation. Given the economic climate, I'm bracing myself for a potentially less-than-stellar outcome, especially if there are any budget constraints being felt higher up. Has anyone heard anything specific about how comp is being handled this cycle at Moody's? Any hints about salary freezes, smaller bonus pools, or even just a more rigorous review process? I'm in a similar boat, wondering what the mood is like for comp this year. Last year felt pretty stable, but with everything going on in the markets, it's hard to know what to anticipate. I haven't heard any official word yet, but I'm definitely preparing for the possibility of a tighter cycle. Hoping for the best but mentally bracing for a more conservative approach to raises and bonuses. It's always a bit of an anxious time, hoping our hard work gets recognized appropriately even in uncertain economic times.
