Been keeping an eye on the tech and operations side of things at Morgan Stanley. While the headlines often focus on front-office roles, the back-end infrastructure and support functions are critical. With the broader market shifts and the focus on efficiency, I'm wondering if there have been any subtle or not-so-subtle changes in hiring freezes or even role eliminations within Tech or Operations. I haven't seen any official layoff news, but sometimes these things trickle down slower. Has anyone experienced or heard about any team restructures, project reprioritizations, or even just a general 'hiring pause' in these areas? Trying to understand the internal landscape beyond the IB chatter.
