Anyone else feeling the vibes at MS?

Seeing some chatter online and just generally feeling a bit uneasy. Heard through the grapevine that things might be tightening up in certain divisions, especially with the dealmaking slowing down like some articles are suggesting. Haven't seen any official comms or heard anything concrete from my direct management, but there's definitely a shift in the air. More internal meetings, less visibility on some projects, and a general sense of 'watching what happens.' Curious if anyone else in different departments is picking up on the same thing or has heard anything more specific. Trying not to panic, but it's hard not to notice the change.

I've definitely noticed a similar sentiment, though I'm in a different area of the firm. There's a palpable sense of caution, and while nothing's been explicitly stated, the quiet reassessment of priorities is hard to ignore. Feels like a lot of people are just holding their breath and waiting for more clarity. The slowdown in M&A is bound to ripple, and it's natural for that to create some uncertainty. Just trying to stay focused on my work and adapt to whatever comes next.

Yeah, I'm picking up on that too, though my team hasn't seen any direct impact yet. It's more the general market commentary and the quiet hum of things changing behind the scenes. Heard some whispers about resource allocation shifts in certain revenue-generating divisions. It's the usual cycle, I suppose – when the broader economic environment gets choppy, financial institutions tend to batten down the hatches. Hopefully, it's just a temporary recalibration.
