Heard a whisper from a friend in middle management that there’s a plan to re-evaluate the ops footprint before the next fiscal review. It hasn’t been confirmed anywhere, but the way some projects have been put on 'indefinite hold' lately makes me think they’re clearing the deck. I know the stock has been shaky, but I hate this uncertainty. If we’re looking at a soft layoff or a forced RIF, I’d rather know now than wait until it’s already happening. Has anyone heard anything concrete about budget cuts affecting specific sites? Trying to figure out if it’s time to seriously look elsewhere before the job market gets more crowded.

Look, everyone needs to take a deep breath. The company goes through these cycles of rumors every time the stock fluctuates, and frankly, it’s exhausting. Most of the 'indefinite holds' on projects are just standard austerity measures meant to preserve capital for the new fiscal year. It doesn't automatically mean the sky is falling or that a RIF is imminent. Focus on your current deliverables and try not to get sucked into the office gossip mill. If leadership decides to restructure, they will tell us when they are ready.
