It is definitely shifting toward a purely transactional environment. The days of feeling like a valued part of a larger mission are long gone. Now, it is just about managing optics for the shareholders while the actual operations teams are stretched to their breaking point. Leadership keeps talking about 'efficiency,' but we all know that is just code for cutting the resources we need to do our jobs properly. It is honestly exhausting to watch them hollow out the company from the inside while expecting us to maintain the same output as before.
I honestly think it is just a plain old collapse masquerading as a strategic shift. When management stops investing in the people and starts focusing exclusively on short-term quarterly metrics, the culture eventually hits a wall. The morale here has been spiraling for months, and management seems completely oblivious or simply doesn't care. It is hard to stay motivated when the company treats long-term employees as nothing more than liabilities on a balance sheet. At this point, I am just here for the paycheck until I find something stable.
