Hey everyone, been working at MSI for a few years now and things have felt... off lately. Not necessarily layoffs yet, but the general vibe seems to be shifting. Heard some whispers about reorgs and budget reviews, but nothing concrete. Anyone else picking up on this? Performance reviews felt a bit more intense this cycle, and some teams seem to be understaffed or projects are getting deprioritized faster than usual. Just trying to get a sense if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a department feeling the squeeze. Curious to hear what others are experiencing, especially in different business units. Is it just me, or is there a general sense of unease brewing?

I've definitely noticed a change in atmosphere too. It feels like there's more pressure to deliver on fewer resources. I can echo some of that sentiment. While I haven't seen major performance drops or overt signs of trouble, there's a definite undercurrent of 'tightening the belt.' Project scopes seem to be shrinking, and there's a greater emphasis on justifying every expense. It's not panic stations, but it does make you wonder about the long-term outlook and what the leadership's priorities really are right now. Let's hope for transparency.
