MSI - Anyone feeling the budget pinch recently?

Been with Motorola Solutions for a while now, and lately it feels like the purse strings are getting tighter. Travel requests are getting more scrutiny, new software/tool requests are being pushed back, and I've noticed fewer external hires coming in for roles that typically move quickly. It's not a full-blown freeze, but there's definitely a noticeable slowdown in spending and hiring compared to, say, a year ago. Makes you wonder if the company is bracing for something or just tightening up operations. Has anyone else experienced this? Are budgets being cut in your areas, or are hiring processes suddenly taking much longer? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide trend or specific to certain divisions.

I've definitely felt that too. The travel policy changes and the slower pace on new initiatives are hard to ignore. It's understandable that companies need to be fiscally responsible, but it does create a bit of uncertainty about future growth and investment in new technologies. Hopefully, this is just a temporary adjustment period.

Yeah, the hiring slowdown is pretty apparent. Roles that used to be filled in weeks are now taking months, if they get filled at all. It puts more pressure on existing teams to cover the gaps, which can be draining. Makes you wonder about the long-term strategy when resources seem to be stretched thin like this.
