Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter across the financial industry about belt-tightening and some headcount reductions. Wanted to see if anyone at MSCI has heard anything concrete or noticed any unusual patterns lately? Not trying to stir the pot, just trying to get a feel for the landscape. Been feeling a bit uneasy with the market volatility and how it might trickle down. Are teams being restructured? Any hiring freezes? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Haven't heard any direct news about layoffs at MSCI specifically, but the general economic climate is definitely making a lot of us in finance a bit nervous. It wouldn't be surprising if some firms were looking at efficiency measures, but I haven't seen any concrete signs pointing to MSCI yet. Keep an eye on their career page and any internal comms. It's always good to be prepared but try not to let the speculation get to you too much.
