MSCI: Thoughts on current market impacting jobs?

Given the choppy waters in the markets and the general economic uncertainty, I'm starting to get a bit antsy about job security here at MSCI. I know we're in a different space than some of the more volatile trading firms, but the impact of client budgets and overall market sentiment can't be ignored, right? Has anyone else been feeling this? Are there any projects being scaled back or any teams that seem to be under more scrutiny? I'm not aware of any official layoffs, but sometimes these things start subtly. Just looking to gauge the general mood and see if others are feeling the same kind of apprehension. Open to hearing any perspectives, positive or negative. Hoping for the best but preparing for… well, anything.

Totally hear your concerns. It's hard not to feel it when you see the headlines and the market fluctuations. While MSCI's business model is generally more stable, client spending does tend to tighten up during downturns. I haven't seen any major project cancellations or increased scrutiny on specific teams yet, but I'm definitely keeping an eye out. Let's hope things pick up soon.
